Book Keeping

It is vital for any self employed individual / company that their accounting records are maintained properly throughout a financial year to, at the very least, adhere to their statutory duty to maintain proper accounting records, i.e. records that are fit for purpose in terms of making full and comprehensive declarations in respect of profits.

This obligation is important as HMRC has significant powers to fine individuals / companies who they consider have failed in this regard.

Whilst many self employed individuals may consider themselves to be competent to maintain their own accounting records on a monthly / quarterly basis (in a manner which allows for the easy preparation of year end financial accounts / tax returns) other individuals may recognise that this is not their forte and prefer to outsource this work.

At Fa accounting we provide an individually tailored and bespoke bookkeeping service to clients in a very cost effective manner.

In the event that you are a new start / growing business, the team at Fa accounting has experience of a number of different accounting systems and will be able to both recommend to you the most appropriate system for your size and type of business (be it hand written or computerised) and indeed, if required, undertake such bookkeeping as is necessary to ensure the correct recording of your transactions in your records.

We believe that your accounting system should develop as your business develops and the team at Fa accounting are well placed to advise on this subject as the requirement occurs.
